Some outfits from the past few weeks.
Look 1: Basic goth
Effortless, basic outfit if you own a tube top, denim and flip flops. Every day I try to ensure I grab my crystals for the day to keep them on me - I don’t always have pockets so they’ll go in my purse or sometimes the side of my leggings or I will wrap one on around a thin leather piece I have from Joann’s to wear it as a necklace. Made my lips dark blue for the Taurus moon. I really enjoy using eyeshadow as “lipstick” especially since you may not have certain colors in a lipstick. I usually just put a nude color on my lips first and then the eyeshadow sticks right on and stays on all day.
Look 2: Safety pins
I was really tired on this day but I still felt really powerful in this outfit. Something about a clean goth look from head to toe just makes me feel so good. This headband was made by cutting up an old t-shirt. I just grabbed a strip of the cloth and stuck some safety pins on it. I will usually wear it this way (flat) or I will tie it in the center so that it has a knot in the middle. I tie it around my head and just knot it in the back or secure it with bobby pins. Wearing it is my fave because I made it myself and am always proud of that.
Look 3: Smoky quartz lips
The edit on this is a bit wonky - I had to add my bun back because Canva cropped it lol. And my phone is slightly curved as well as my hand? Weird. I got this t-shirt when I went to Greece to see my family in 2023. I call my lips smoky quartz here because the combination of a silver lipstick with black dabbed over it and blended in lightly with your finger, along with a black lip liner (then also blended in lightly with your finger) makes them really look like that to me. I love combining makeup colors to create something new it’s really fun. Sometimes I will do a dark red and then black over it and leave the edges visible so that it looks like red is glowing through.
