GGWM: Banshee, upside down crosses, and white lace

Get goth with me! This is my first post on fashion. I live for fashion it’s been an integral part of me since I was in my teens. My style is elegant goth/witch with punk/occult elements. My intention is to build an archive here to empower and inspire.

Banshee

I love a layered necklace and dark lip. I use this strappy bra a lot to peek out of my tops, it makes the top look different. The Banshee necklace is from Witching Hour Baby and the spiral goddess from East meets West at the mall. When I used to watch Teen Wolf I related a lot to the character of Lydia who was a Banshee in the show, and that’s what led me to purchase the necklace. The spiral is a personal symbol.

Upside down crosses

The necklace is from Spencer’s and I tied it myself behind my neck to create it into a choker; the harness is from Etsy. Wearing crosses in a grungy way whether upright or upside down have helped me take my power back since I grew up around a religion that wasn’t all positive. For this look overall I wanted to appear more “dirty” looking especially since I hadn’t gotten my face waxed in so long. But also, something about an imperfect look helps me in my lifelong crusade to embrace anti-perfectionism.

White lace

I love the double strap on this top, and I chose to go with messy hair because it’s summer here and it’s hot, plus I haven’t been able to get my hair cut or done in a long time so I just let it be with curly bangs. No bra in the summer is also my favorite thing since it feels so powerful, and a white top and no bra is even more so imo.
